Although it is easy to feel hopeless in hard times, Brave Spaces believes that there are ways we can take care of our communities and make our voices heard. At our Call Your Senator event, we will explain why calling your senator or representative is important and the steps people can take to make those calls. We will provide scripts for people to use on their calls and hold space for those calls.

Brave Spaces Debriefs are designated spaces to unite the Brave Spaces community. They are meetings for our general body members to connect and discuss current events.

Community Care Night is an opportunity for the AU community to come together and take care of their mental health together. We will have snacks and tea to help people unwind. We will have the opportunity to individually journal, decorate journals, and talk to one another. The goal of this event is to give people a space to talk about their mental health and find community and relaxation on campus.…more
