Bio

Lindsay specializes in international dispute resolution, with a focus on commercial and investment arbitration. As Senior Counsel at Arbitration Chambers in New York, she both acts as an independent arbitrator and works with some of the world’s leading arbitrators on large, complex international disputes. Lindsay previously served as Legal Counsel at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), an organization of the World Bank Group devoted to the resolution of disputes between sovereign States and foreign investors, and as part of the International Arbitration Group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in New York and London, where she represented parties in numerous proceedings before international tribunals.



Lindsay’s research to date has focused on international investment law, international courts and tribunals, and treaty practice and interpretation. She holds degrees from Georgetown University (J.D.) and University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne/Sciences Po (Master II), and is admitted to practice in New York and England & Wales. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an Accredited Mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution.
