- Sociologist Nicole Angottireceived a $175,015 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for the project “Intergenerational Intervention: Employing Youth to Promote Aging Healthy with HIV in Rural South Africa.”
- American University officially launched the (TRAC). TRAC, which is funded through a $5.7M, four-year cooperative agreement from the National Science FoundationAccelerating Research Translation program, is a university-wide initiative established to strengthen our capacity to speed and scale translational research.
